Is Whisper Perks live yet?
Not yet. Shops launch on 1 November 2026, and shop registration is open now. Until then this is our prelaunch introduction, and the screenshots show demo content.
Is this only for students?
No. It is for everyday local life: students, families, working people and anyone exploring their city. Food, clothing, cafes and useful services all belong here. We are starting in Faisalabad.
Is it just food and restaurant deals?
No. Discover clothing shops, cafes, printing and stationery, local services and more alongside restaurants. Availability will depend on the shops that join in your area.
Can I find a job on Whisper Perks?
Yes. The app has a jobs board: search by title, company or area, then apply with the CV on your profile or message the employer on WhatsApp or email. Job alerts tell you when a new job matches a search you kept. Never pay money to get a job.
Can I message a shop or a seller in the app?
Yes. Chat sits beside Call and WhatsApp: a text chat inside the app with a shop or the seller of a listing. A shop’s owner decides which of their staff answer its chats. You can delete a message for everyone within an hour of sending it, and block or report from inside the chat.
What is Gupshup?
Gupshup is a wall of short posts inside the app, for everyone: a joke, a story, a scary one, a few lines of poetry or a question for the city. Anyone can read it; with an account you can post, react with one of six reactions, comment and share. The writer can turn reactions, comments or sharing off for each post. You can report or block from any post, moderators read every report, and a writer whose post was taken down can ask for a second look.
Does joining the list cost anything?
No. Registering your interest is free. It is not an order, subscription or payment, and it does not create an app account. Shops that want to join can see every merchant price under Pricing.
Who provides the discounts?
Participating merchants set and fund their offers, including the value, expiry and conditions. There is no guaranteed discount at every shop. Check each offer before claiming or ordering.
Will I need to install an app?
No. Whisper Perks works in your phone’s browser and can be added to your home screen like an app, with a full desktop view too. An Android app for Google Play is now in testing; we will put its link here once it is published.
Can I remove my data, or close my account?
Yes, yourself and at any time. In the app you can remove your photo, your CV, a listing, a comment, a like or an alert where you made it, or close the whole account from your account page. The app’s “Delete your account” page says what goes at once and what is kept, and why.
How will orders and payments work?
Initial orders are planned around pay at shop and COD where the merchant offers delivery. Delivery availability and charges are shop-specific. Online card or wallet payments are not promised for the initial release.
Is early access a paid booking?
No payment is taken on this website, and an enquiry is not a purchase, reservation or binding subscription. Merchant plans are listed under Pricing and are paid with our team on WhatsApp. Shops launch on 1 November 2026.
